Arrived into Hong Kong

We just arrived into Hong Kong about an hour ago (12:30 am EST). As we were landing, we gazed amazingly at the beautiful mountains and surrounding water. We forgot, just how beautiful China really is. So far everything has gone well. Out of all the people going through security in Toronto, guess who got called out of the line to be searched? Me (Those who have travelled with me, I'm sure are not surprised.) What is up with that? Anyways, Portia has been amazing, although extremely exhausted, Franca just kept knitting away and Alex must have read half a novel. Cathay Pacific has little screens for every seat and you have a choice of a gazillion things to do (watch movies, TV, play games, listen to music, etc.). I watched 4.5 movies! I usually can't get through 1 but it helped pass the time away, especially since us adults didn't sleep as much as we would have liked. There was a little boy that sat in front of us, and didn't sleep the WHOLE time. He kept yelling "He scores!" every minute or so. His mom was up about every 1/2 hour and instead of passing in front of the guy sitting beside her in the aisle seat, she would literally stand up in her seat and get this...JUMP over him every time. Of course, Franca and I laughed each time and wondered if she was going to start doing a gymnastics routine. Free entertainment, I'm all for it. We are waiting to catch our flight to Vietnam and will keep everyone updated.
