Proverbs 13:12 - "Expectation postponed is making the heart sick, but the thing desired is a tree of life when it does come."

Reuben is adapting well. It's funny it's been only 24 hours and we are starting to get to know his likes and dislikes. Portia is adapting well too, but as anyone knows, when another child joins the family it can be hard. We are trying to keep our attention equal on both, but Princess Portia is not always liking sharing the throne. Nonetheless, she loves to make him laugh and hates to see him cry. We took it easy today. We went down for breakfast. Everyone else ordered the same old American breakfast, but as they say, when in Rome, so I ordered a Saigon Breakfast. It consisted of sauteed egg noodles with vegetables and must admit, it wasn't to bad. Alex spent some time with Portia at the pool and we just took it easy, while Reuben napped. We headed once again to the Ben Thanh market (since we just can't seem to get enough of it) and met Renny & Lia there. The timing was perfect since within seconds of our arrival a torrential rain came through. The people here are used to it but it was something new for us. We then entered the market and this lady recognized us from last time. She gave us these amazing prices on children's clothing. It's a good thing since our little guy is too small for any of the clothes we brought. Portia is getting too used to this lifestyle and now asks to go to the market every day. It reminds us a bit of the market in Milan except there are a gazillion more people. After the market we went over to Renny's hotel and had a real coffee (vs. the fake kind) at a place called Highlands. It's the Vietnamese version of Starbucks so it gave us a feel of home. We then came back to the hotel and had a cozy take out dinner at what we refer to as our home away from home. The jetlag is still effecting us and infact around 7:30 pm we all become brain dead. If anyone has ANY suggestions at all, please share. Emi, thanks for the suggestion of not napping. That has helped alot although fighting the clock can be so difficult some days. Well, good night for now.
