We found out that we will have our little guy on Monday so that was unexpected good news! We were told a few days ago that we wouldn't get Reuben until July 20th however the agency spoke to the orphanage and they agreed for us to have him a week earlier. What a wonderful gift.

Well, in the news today...Portia caught a bug so we are trying hard to nip it in the bud. As per the doctor, she's on a strict diet of rice and pedialyte. She'll be resting all day today and then the whole way to Vietnam so hopefully she recovers by then. It's supposed to last between 24 to 72 hours. We still managed to get her haircut. It's a bit shorter than we would have liked, but it's a fresh summer look which I think in the Vietnam heat, will be better appreciated. I just love her long hair but it was long overdue for a cut.

It's Thursday evening and we are starting to zip up all our bags. We are travelling with 4 luggages and are debating whether or not we should bring a 5th...the reason is that the other 4 are all over the weight restriction per single piece of luggage. We are allowed to check-in 100 pounds each and right now we are at about 229. We bought one of those Hey's Xscales and totally recommend it. Sure beats trying to pick up our luggage and balance it on a regular scale. If there is anyone out there that weighs 71 pounds or less, doesn't mind closed spaces, and wants a free ride to Vietnam, let us know. LOL!
